ABOUT US

The mission of Kiwanis. It's what gets us up in the morning. And what drives every project we pursue. Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children.

Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide - so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.

Norwalk Kiwanis is a service organization made up entirely of volunteers dedicated to helping one child and one community at a time. The Norwalk Club began in 1920 and during its existence has participated in volunteering countless hours of time and donations of money to events and programs that promote helping the community especially the children.

The Norwalk Club meets on the second Thursday of each month for breakfast 7:30 A.M. at The Silver Star Diner, and on the 4th Wednesday of the month for dinner 6:30 P.M. at Bertucci's .

All are welcome to attend!

Our largest fundraiser that helps us in supporting scholarships in our town is The Poinsettia and Mistletoe Balls. These two traditional High School Dances are for The High School Juniors and Seniors who reside in Norwalk.
